RENOWNED RESEARCH FELLOWS OF THE CENTRE

Prof. Akpofure Rim-Rukeh

He is the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, Delta State. He is a specialist in Environmental Management & Toxicology. He has done numerous notable works in areas of sustainable development in the environment. He is a hands-on fellow of the Centre.

Prof. Olukayode Ogunsanwo

He was the Pioneer Coordinator, Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Programme (EPNARP), at the Centre for Sustainable Development, University of Ibadan, from 2010 to 2014 and currently the Pioneer Head of the Department of Forest Production and Products in the Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is an active fellow of the Centre.

Prof. Joseph Golwa

He is a former Director-General, Institute of Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR), Abuja, he was appointed by President Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR in 2006, and was re-appointed for a second term in 2010 by President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR. Prof. Golwa is equally the pioneer Dean the School of Postgraduate Studies in Bingham University, Karu from 2016. His philosophy is “Peace Promotes Development and progress.” He is a renowned Research Fellow of the Centre.

Dr. Benjamin Onoriode Irikefe

He was the Statement Chairman at the First Presidential Retreat on National Security in 2001 and a Member of the Presidential Panel on National Security in the Presidency from October, 2001 to December, 2002. He also worked under the defunct General Godwin Abbe-led Presidential Committee on Amnesty in 2010. He is the author the "Handbook of Skill Acquisition Training and Empowerment Programmes." He is a pragmatic fellow of the Centre.
